What You Get in the WonderFox Halloween Giveaway
You get three full Pro licenses, each delivered to your email. Here is how the value adds up, using the list prices shown on the giveaway page.
| Software | Free license | List price |
|---|---|---|
| HD Video Converter Factory Pro | 1 year | $29.95 |
| WonderFox DVD Ripper Pro | 1 year | $29.95 |
| RecoveryFox AI | 30 days | $59.95 |
| Total | $119.85 |
Be aware that RecoveryFox AI is the shortest license. The 30-day version is still useful for a one-time rescue of deleted files, and there is a way to extend it (see the claim guide below).
Our Hands-On Testing & Activation Proof
The Sawahits team downloaded, installed, and activated all three programs using the licenses sent by the giveaway. The test machine ran Windows 11, and HD Video Converter Factory Pro installed as version 28.9.
Each license arrived by email within moments of confirming our address. The email lists the product, the license code, the system requirements (Windows 11, 10, 8.1, 8 and 7), and a four-step activation guide. It also states the key terms: one PC per license, activation before November 4, 2026, and no technical support for giveaway licenses.
HD Video Converter Factory Pro Activation Proof
After installing, click Register at the top of the program, paste the code, and confirm. The program reported a successful registration and a license valid for 365 days.
WonderFox DVD Ripper Pro Activation Proof
The flow is the same: click Register in the top bar, paste the license code, and confirm. The “Unregistered Copy” notice disappears and the Register button leaves the title bar.
RecoveryFox AI License Proof
Open the account icon at the top right, paste the code, and click Register Now. The success window states the license is valid for 31 days.
The Three Programs: Short Reviews
HD Video Converter Factory Pro
This is an all-in-one video toolkit. Designed to convert between 500+ video and audio formats, it also downloads from 1000+ sites, records your screen, and trims, splits, merges and rotates clips. The software supports up to 8K and uses GPU acceleration, which the vendor says makes conversion up to 50x faster. Ultimately, this tool suits anyone who regularly needs to shrink videos for sharing or switch formats for a phone, TV or editor. The giveaway license runs for one year.
WonderFox DVD Ripper Pro
This tool backs up and converts DVDs, including old or encrypted ones, to MP4, AVI, MKV and other formats. It can also make a 1:1 copy as an ISO image or DVD folder, and it includes presets for phones and TVs, plus trimming, cropping and filters. It is useful if you own a DVD collection and want playable digital copies of discs you own. Check your local copyright rules before ripping any disc. The giveaway license runs for one year.
RecoveryFox AI
This is a Windows data recovery tool that scans internal and external drives for deleted photos, videos and documents. It supports NTFS, FAT and exFAT, lets you preview recoverable items before restoring, and works non-destructively. Recovery works best if you stop using the drive right after the deletion. The giveaway license lasts 30 days, which is enough for an emergency recovery job or a test of the scanner.
How to Claim Your Free WonderFox Licenses
Claiming takes a few minutes. Do it before November 3, and activate each program before November 4, 2026.
- Open the official WonderFox Halloween giveaway page.
- Pick a product. On its card, type your email address and click Confirm.
- Click Free Download and install the program.
- Check your inbox (and spam folder) for the license email. Repeat the steps for the other two programs.
- Open each program, click Register, paste the code with Copy and Paste, and confirm.
Optional: Upgrade RecoveryFox AI to a 1-Year License
The giveaway page offers a free upgrade from the 30-day RecoveryFox AI license to the 1-year full license. Share the event page on social media with the hashtags shown on the page, then email a screenshot of your post to the address listed on the page. Follow the instructions there exactly, since the vendor sets the terms.
Things to Know Before You Download
- Activation deadline: licenses not activated before November 4, 2026 become invalid.
- One PC per license: activate on the computer you plan to use.
- No technical support: giveaway licenses do not include it, but updates are free until the license expires.
- Windows only: Windows 11, 10, 8.1, 8 and 7.
- Expiry: when a license ends, the program goes back to its limited trial mode unless you buy a license.
Who should skip it: Mac users, and anyone who needs long-term data recovery, because the RecoveryFox AI license is only 30 days.
Is It Worth Buying Instead?
The page shows a limited-time Halloween lifetime offer of $24.95 for HD Video Converter Factory Pro and WonderFox DVD Ripper Pro (down from $29.95), and $69.95 for RecoveryFox AI (down from $149.95). A one-year free license is a good way to test the software before you decide.

Final Verdict
This is worth claiming if you use Windows and want a free video converter, a DVD backup tool, or a recovery tool for emergencies. Take the two one-year licenses for long-term use, and keep RecoveryFox AI for a one-time rescue. If you only use a Mac, skip it. The main reason to act now is the hard deadline: activation must be done before November 4, 2026.
Bottom line: an easy, genuine giveaway that is worth claiming, held back by the 30-day RecoveryFox AI license, Windows-only support and no technical help.
Editorial score based on my claim, install and activation test on Windows 11. Conversion speed, DVD ripping and file recovery results were not tested.
